Boat ride - 12/14/15 05:56 PM

Anyone know how long from the pavilion to the canyons? On Rayburn. Looks to be 1/2 hour?

Its right at 19 miles I think, depends how straight of a line u run. So assume 20 miles, now its just a factor of how fast your travelling. Roughly 20 minutes at 65-70mph.

I can do 65 easy. As long as there's no north wind that day.

Had it take me over an hour and a half before
But then again it was constant 20 mph winds and gusts to 30

Not a fun day

Your not supposed to make that run when it's doing that

The last trip to tb at a cowboy tourney we had a 25mph north wind I was a co angler got stuck with a guy who wanted to go about 25 minutes past the bridge we had 4-6 ft rollers. It was horrible. Ended up fishing in the boat lane for 3 hours. In some ditch drop shorting was his method. Needless to say I didn't have a good time

25 min north of 147 is about 5 minutes north of 103.

Not really hahahaha I've went under the 147 and that was the half way marker. That run was nothing compared to the Arkansas River.

Avg for me if I'm fishing the Canyons, or anywhere round 147, is bout 25 Gallons a day.
