Salvinia --> Fork - 11/29/15 04:21 PM
The Dallas Morning News has an article on the salvinia at Fork. Sounds more than serious in the least. With all the big tournaments this fall, i.e. Berkley and Sealy, one would expect that it is in other areas of the lake as well.
The article states that TPWD has some money to spend on the issue and has already started treatment at Fork. Has salvinia ever been successfully eradicated from any large bodies of water?
I know there were a couple of threads on Fork salvinia in the past couple of weeks. Thought starting another one might be worthwhile. Have they scheduled a “State of the Lake Meeting” for Fork? Been to two of those in the past and found them quite informative.
