What do you guys recommend for spinner baits?

Also, what line do you usually use?

Anything that is wobbly and can hold a reel.... Just saying. It isn't like you really have to feel a bite. You just have to not rip the hook out. It should give and not be too stiff. It will also keep those cheap spinner hooks pinned a little better when they try to shake that big floppy bait out. Line? Whatever. It isn't critical either.

Thanks. I've been throwing it on my extra rod I had (cabelas 7ft extra heavy) and I can't really get it out there the way I would like. The rod doesn't give enough

G. Loomis Spinnerbait Rod

Look no further than this rod right here. I've been using it for years now and I haven't found a better rod out there! It's a 6'9" so it's short enough for roll casting into tight spaces but it has enough length to give you a long cast. It's a super sensitive rod and G. Loomis makes it light without sacrificing materials or power. I highly recommend this rod.

Sunline Reaction FC Flourocarbon

I use this 90% of the time for spinnerbaits (I use Co-Polymer at Falcon). I typically use 14-16 pound test depending on cover and water clarity. This line is as sensitive as they come and when a fish bites your bait, this line is gonna "give" just enough to let the hook bury in the bass' mouth.

Im a rookie at this, but based on previous feedback here on TFF, I use a 7' Medium to Medium-Heavy with Moderate Action rod to throw spinnerbaits.

Best rod is a 7'6" med heavy. Fast. Hard to find a good blank that length. Make sure it's a im8 or im10. When I flutter the blades I want to feel them tickle. I want to know of my rear willow is flattened or extra cup at a full length cast. Sensitivity is a requirement on a spinnerbait.

I like a 7ft to 7ft 4in M/H moderate action. You don't need to spend the money for fluorocarbon line for throwing a spinnerbait. I use either P Line CXX or McCoys mean green co-polymer lines.

I use an older Crucial 7ft M/H TC-4 and it works well for spinner baits, chatter baits, square bills, and top water baits.

I use a Falcon Cara finesse jig rod with 15lb Big Game. I feel like with mono I don't get snagged as much.
