All depends on your setup rod, reel, and line. If you use a stiffer rod I'd go with Monofilament. If you have a rod with more of a parabolic bend, I'd go with straight braid or braid to mono leader.

I'd throw it on Mono...
I use 20lb big game on the size 50. I'd use 15lb big game if I was throwing the size 30
