I like Grande Bass baits a lot so I bought some of the airtail rattlers. I keep having a problem with them tearing off right past the bend in the hook.

Great video. Looks like at least two of your baits 'tore off'....but, you caught what looked like some good fish then as well.
What size hook are you using with the Air Tail ?
I am really looking forward to getting out and trying them.....been watching for posts on them since I first saw them announced on a post some months ago.
Thanks for sharing....good video
God Bless
Good deal, they do look awesome

I'm fishing them on a 3/0 EWG hook. Yes they are fragile baits. Guess that's the price you pay for the action. The "meat" or body of the lure is not that big after you take out the ribs and it's a soft plastic. They do catch fish though!

I used a Trokar 2/0 hook in my setup. Even though the baits came loose, they float so I just picked them up and reused them. I basically was able to catch all the fish in the video, plus several more using two baits.

I like to use a 3/0 Owner's J-Hook.

Man. Need a new, better resolution video. 1080P Cameras are cheap. Heck 4K cameras are coming down in price.

Interesting, thanks. Didn't think of rigging this way.
