Tuff Skinz Motor Covers

Tuff Skinz Motor Covers - 11/09/15 09:49 PM

Got an '08 Merc 150 and considering getting their motor cover for it. The mercury covers look good-especially
since you get a merc logo and not their logo on the side.

Anybody got an opinion on these?

I love mine. Keeps the brush from scratching up my engine. If you fish timber you will like it.

OCA covers are another good option. They fit better in my opinion.

I have been using TuffSkinz covers since the beginning, you won't find a better cover than they make. The customer service is the best as well as the delivery time. If you want an all American made product then purchase the TuffSkinz. 877-99-cover.

I purchased mine in 2002/2003 time frame and the cover is still great. Only problem I have had is that the decal MERCURY is coming off, but hey its OLD.

Agree as well. They fit better and don't fade like the Tuff Skinz I have seen. Either way, GET a motor cover, they are well worth it.

They don't have any buckles or straps so they won't scratch/rub paint off your cowling. The OCA cover doesn't hide your trim switch either.

Can't say enough good things bout them. First cover on Merc 250 didn't have felt inside draw strap. Was in fine state of Texas fishin and had cover off and saw minor scuffing on lower cowling. Call Tuff Skinz-WTF. They shipped brand new cover with felt liner, no quetions asked. Offered to have my rig taken to shop and have scuffs polished out. Customer service right up there with Bass Cat. If they offer support like that, I am faithful customer.

I like my Tuff Skinz, but would rather not have their logo on the back of it. I also think they could improve them by cutting out a niche for the trim switch. Other than that, it performs as expected.

How old is your cover? Mine has a area cut out for the trim switch. I love my cover. Took it off the other day to wax my engine and it looked like it was still brand new. The cover on the other hand has some scuff marks from timber I have gotten up against. I highly recommend them.

The website has pricing. You have to input your motor and the options you want

If you can't access the web page for pricing just call and they will give you the pricing. 877-99-cover, also you can get the cover without the TuffSkinz logo. All you have to do is request no logo

Re: Tuff Skinz Motor Covers - 11/20/15 10:41 PM

When I purchased mine it was a blank cover and I put all the logo's I wanted on it and they will also customize a logo for you if you want. I purchased mine FTF and not on web site since they are close to my companies shop. They gave me a free customized logo so I put their logo on it facing the front of the boat.
