I thought the same thing. My partner and I fish on the front deck a lot. First time he sets the hook and hits me I'm going to punt his arse into the water. When you set the hook you need to be aware of where your partner is.

I agree with most have cashed a check have put in the time. I myself have put in hour after hour without a rod in hand this year. It has paid off to a sense but I've also noticed a lot more people not beating the bank and are seeing the rewards of it. The shallow stuff will get good eventually but I'm loving finding fish deep and having 24+ by 8:00. I prefish the rest of the day.
