Another solid tournament

Another solid tournament - 11/02/15 07:51 PM

The weights seem to be changing some on that lake after fishing it this past weekend. I will take a 17LB sack both days. Always good to stay consistent when times get a bit tougher. Hope y'all enjoy and I guess we will see you out there next weekend.

You should have went ahead and blacked out the background. Location is more important than the lure

So did you get permission to film out there, or did you just decide to risk breaking the rules again?

How/Why is filming yourself fishing a tournament a problem?

The park has a rule against filming there, I'm guessing because of the power plant. Honest question, I'm just curious.

If they arrested me for filming out there and I got in trouble I would be very surprised. You can get more info for places like that just by going to google earth. I mean we used google earth in Afghanistan when planning missions so...

Filming the property and filming yourself on your boat is different.

Solid sacks. Sunday was a lot different bite for us, crowds were way worse too.

Re: Another solid tournament - 11/02/15 09:58 PM

Definitely a solid sack.
Musiclife_7 - As I agree with you on filming yourself and not the property etc..., but when your on private waters such as Squaw and they have rules of filming as they do you break the rule by recording. When anyone records catching a solid sack there they are breaking the second rule, unless they got permission first.

Judging by the way you are working the bait, I'm guessing you were Carolina rigging a hot pink buzzbait.

Re: Another solid tournament - 11/03/15 03:04 AM

I've filmed out there every single time I've gone and it's never been an issue. The extremely nice lady that works at the gate always sees my go pro and never says a thing. I've also lost a go pro out there before and called to ask her if anyone had turned it in and again, she's or anyone else has ever mentioned it to be a problem. If Honey Hole can film and show the entire lake, then I don't see why it would be a problem for an amateur. Now going and filming the actual power plant would be a different story.

if you don't want to show people your stuff, why even video it?

Re: Another solid tournament - 11/03/15 02:22 PM

I honestly wouldn't care if there wasnt a tournament on the lake every weekend this winter. It's my partners go to bait is all. Just being courteous I guess and I usually don't block out baits. That was the first time but I'm sure people knew what it was just the color is what we care about

Well there are many trees and points on that lake with buoys. The lure to my partner is important to block out with all the tournaments coming up
