KVD, Skeet and IKE's Facebook Pages might be hacked

KVD, Skeet and IKE's Facebook Pages might be hacked - 10/29/15 04:31 PM

FYI

I don't know if you guys/gals follow them and also Strike King on Facebook but I noticed that in my Newfeeds from them there were a lot of weird posts from their FB pages/sites.

If you follow them I would not click on the stories or hover you mouse pointer over the links that appear. I got a wicked virus from a sports site just by trying to see where the linked pointed to.
The links look suspicious to me...

They were hacked, strike King, Ike and KVD sent out tweets stating that.

Pretty sure they use a third party to manage their Facebook pages. I am guessing that service got hacked.

Yes, there were a bunch affected. There's a message being distributed to those who manage Facebook business pages asking you to click a link verifying your page or it will be suspended. It looks like it was sent from Facebook as it's a message delivered inside your account. The link once clicked provides access to your account.

If you manage a page and see the message report it to phishing@fb.com and do NOT click the link.
