Rocks and docks.

Yep rocks and docks will probably produce some decent fish. Which course April Sound or Bentwater? There are some decent places to fish around both.

You'll catch a few dinks doing that, but nothing worth your time. Docks and rocks is where it's at right now. Try to find some docks in the 4-8' range and you should be golden.

Lock your truck up tight and don't leave anything out in sight. Public ramp in an isolated area with no security at Scotts Ridge.

Just got done fishing the B.A.S.S Team trail championship there this weekend. Crankbaits in 12-15 ft produced a 34lb bag day 2, we caught a lot of fish on green pumpkin senkos around docks ( fishing them very slowly) once that bite turned off we threw blue fleck power worms off the rocks and finished out our limits. nothing big about a 13-15 lb bag a day.

Ended up launching at a private marina I'm Bentwater. But I'm still out here and struggling.

Conroe is a tough lake for sure, despite the 30lb bags you hear about, especially with all the weather changes going on.
