Anyone like flipping and pitching shallow? - 10/26/15 02:13 PM
Ray Roberts was fun on Saturday for that! Fish were stuck to the shoreline stuff in 5ft or less with deep water close by. Lots of small fish with a few good ones mixed in. Best fish of the day came waking a spinner bait on the inside edge of the flooded stuff in about 1ft of water. It was very windy and nasty looking all day but only rained for about 10 minutes. Surface temp was 68 and it was not as clear as it has been which I think helped the bite.

I love flipping anywhere. It's a bit more successful in deeper water, but it's just therapeutic for me.
