Bass Cat should but probably will not, be careful out there.

Re: Storms this Weekend - 10/22/15 03:09 PM

Why?

It's each anglers personal responsibility
If they don't want to fish the so be it

It's just rain and some wind. Not like it's ice and snow

Texas Trails Bassmasters will be having their open tournament on Saturday and it is going on Rain or Shine.

We are also having our monthly club tournament Sunday as well.

There are only calling for 4 to 6 inches...in an hour or so... just keep the bilge pump on, you'll be fine..

Re: Storms this Weekend - 10/22/15 03:39 PM

the weather guys just suck.... where is the rain? monday they predicted 90% chance today... i have not seen a drop of water so far. and today forecast was 50% chance.

dont trust the weather guys...

keep a radar app on your phone and you will be fine. if something nasty is comming it will only last a couple of minutes. just take cover somewhere.

Fishing Basscat this weekend with my 16 year old son.
I asked him if he wanted to cancel due to the bad weather
He called me a pansy.

We are in. Let it rain!

Question: Is this hurricane going to fill up falcon or is it going to be to far east most likely?

Looks like it's gonna slide NW

Re: Storms this Weekend - 10/23/15 12:19 AM

Local guy just said up to 15" around here and even more in spots south. Hurricane patricia intensified much more than predicted and will only add to the moisture combined with a big low pressure coming from the northwest

Re: Storms this Weekend - 10/23/15 09:45 AM

I'm not afraid to fish in the rain and have not canceled my plans for this weekend--yet. However, I sure would not want to be out in what rolled through here last night around midnight!

Re: Storms this Weekend - 10/28/15 07:41 PM

Well how did everyone do? Rain normally gets things going. Was the tourney cancelled?
Posted By: Ranger1

Re: Storms this Weekend - 10/28/15 07:50 PM

Tourny was not cancelled and I will be the first to tell ya it rained and rained and rained and did I tell you it rained. Then Sunday it rained along with the wind a cometh.

Re: Storms this Weekend - 10/28/15 08:19 PM

I didn't fish a tourney, but the fishing was very good on Saturday. The cool front on Sunday slowed things down, but still biting. Too much lightning all around on Friday for me to get out on the lake.
