I like 3.5" or 4.25" Cane Thumpers.

swim baits, speed craws, creature baits, and worms. just depends on what kind of action you want to present.

Keitech FAT Swing Impact

These are what I use. You can't beat them! They're time tested and there's not one thing that I don't like about them.

Don't think LFT makes the magic shad any longer. I think you guys are referring to the Lake Fork Live Magic Shad. That's what I use 99% of the time. 3.5 inch with the skirt on the chatterbait. 4.5 inch without a skirt.

Zoom Fluke. I think the Chatterbait itself puts out so much vibration that I don't look for the trailer to do anything except add a little bit to the profile. Swim jigs are a different story...I like trailers with a lot of action of those.

When I use a trailer on a standard chatterbait I like the Fluke for this same reason. I have been using the J-mac Shakin' jig and with the skirts on them I don't even use a trailer and they will catch fish.

They do make the magic shad still, tho.

I use the weight of the bladed jig as well as the size of the trailer more for depth control than action in most cases.

Had my best year ever on a chatterbait and for the first time ever I have been using a fluke for my trailer
