Eagle Mountain This AM - 09/25/15 10:43 PM

Well, saw a LOT of fish on my HB 199's but literally nothing was biting...(crappie or catfish I am guessing?? )
Wasn't just me, neighbor went with me....he caught 1...
Not exactly a 'premier' day on the lake fishing wise....weather wise it was really beautiful..
oh well, another day...water is still warm 81 degrees, needs some cooler weather...
Well, that's my little report for EM today
God Bless

Sounds like we were fishing together. I have really been struggling on EM lately.

Guess the year, weather changes, rainfall/flood now back into a 'drought' cycle and now continuing very warm water has really got them mixed up ?????
Heck, I don't know....JMO

Am glad for you Shipmate, at least someone is catching them. Interested in seeing or hearing what the results are for the 'Open Tournament' on EM going on right now...

fished from about 7AM to 2:30PM and we caught probably nine but it was a dink fest i think we had one fish over a pound. all in flooded grass. I was wondering if people are catching them on docks but i couldnt seem to get bit around any docks. EM is confusing me. lol

here's what Bryan posted regarding the tournament Sunday:
We had a turnout of 9 boats it was a lot of fun
1st was Kucish/Crosby with 13.60 big bass of 6.30
2nd was Birch/Gidell with 11.30

we only had 4.4 with 3 fish. caught them early on square bills, literally on the bank. After about 9ish, we got some smaller fish on plastics under docks.
