Power Tackle PG 104.5 or PG 104
If you get around Fork come by the shop and feel our Bushido blanks, and check out our real lifetime warranty. You can also visit our web site. If I can help let me know. Also check out our face book page to see a new Drop Shot Rod we are going to be offering sometime next year.
Daiwa Steez SVF-XBD Braided Line Special. It is designed specially for froggin. It is an XH rod with just the right amount of tip for walking surface baits. Oh. And it's as light as my Falcon Cara mediums. Around 4 ounces.

Actually prefer the 736 for frogs especially if you are throwing in thick slop. Same fast tip for throwing those light frogs but more backbone for dragging them out. Very nice rods but there are many "more affordable" options.

Been using a Megabass Orochi XX Perfect Pitch for a couple of years. Love it. Just got a Megabass Destroyer Black Jungle Frog Game Special I need to break in.

I really like the new Ike rod by Abu Garcia. I have an 8 foot heavy action and I love it.
I use a Loomis IMX 844, works great. I'm sure all others mentioned would work as well as they are all quality products.

Dobyns 735c for hollow frogs, any decent flipping rod for solid ones.

+1 on the Dobyns 735 - I have 2 of the Savvy Series. And they have been great frog rods for a number of years - lots of power and a great rod for the price.
I also have one of the Diawa Tatula frog rods - a 7'4" that is anothe great option.
Good luck on the search!

Heavy action with a good tip for casting is all you need for a frog. My frog rod cost $40 and it's never been an issue. And don't get me wrong, I appreciate the value of a quality rod, most of my rods are decent rods, I just don't need an expensive one for a frog.
