Went out Sunday and my buddy caught a couple of 2 lbers on a top water plug in the morning but as soon as the pleasure boaters started coming out the bite died. I was hoping to get into that 50 bass a day stuff I was hearing about when the lake opened but I think thats over with already. Anybody else go out there this weekend?

was out there today again, 0700-1300- only caught 9- dinks to 2lber. mostly caught them early in the day.

I was out there Sunday and Monday. I was fishing shallow with plastic craws. I fished for about 3 hrs each day. 20 fish days weren't hard to get. Most were around 16-18 inches with the biggest at 21.

I was out there all weekend. Caught six 2lb bass, and a whole mess of little bitty ones!! Also caught quite a few nice sized catfish. Fishin on monday was near impossible with all the party boats. Did well in the coves at about 10-15 ft.

Joe Pool has been on fire as far as numbers are concerned. We have been catching 20 plus unders during Wednesday night tourney consistently. No Overs have been brought in for the last 3 weeks which is unusual. 50 fish day is possible right now.

How deep are you catching them at right now?

From the shore to 10 ft, any new flooded stuff will get u bit, throw a blue fleck power worm and go catching.
