Maybe we will have more room at Rayburn that weekend.

Keith Combs put a few of the venues that he knows about on his Facebook page not too long ago. They are also going to the St. Johns again and the P.Dee River in South Carolina. I can't remember the other ones he shared.

Wheeler, the Potomac and Cayuga were the other ones.

February and march would be a slugfest....may is one of the tougher months on Toledo actually. Especially if the shad spawn in winding down. Would love to see them there pre spawn.

that's for the average fisherman you take the pro's down there to do their job and they will make the average fisherman look silly. Given the lake may fish 3 different seasons and the pro's will have fun at that lake.
just look at Chris Lane and what he did at lake fork in May for a guy to fish shallow pretty much 100% of the time where 99% of the other fisherman were out deep and to finish in the top 5 and could have won, that's an amazing feat in itself.

Sometimes we don't realize how good these guys really are, but some also struggle too.

Well we know they are "better" fisherman. I just meant overall the bigger weights would come from February or march. I guess it will depend on how much quality info they get on the offshore fish

Did people forget they went there in May 2014??

Weights were ok. Less than 20lbs a day to win. I would love to see them there in March.

Exactly what I was thinking, not the first time they've been to The Bend.

If those fish gained a pound a year, which is probably on the low side, then a 4 lb fish average is now a 6 lb fish average. 20 lb average to 30 lb average. Very possible.

I will definately be in attendance. By then I will have retired, sold out in Houston, and moved to Rayburn. A hop and a skip from the bend.

Post spawn can be tough on Toledo. Lots of females just sulking and not biting. The shad spawn and weather will determine the weights. Last couple years plenty of spawners left in early may.

I'm with T54.... Just because those fish grow doesn't mean the weights will reflect the same. Anything is possible, just not sure how probably. But.... should be a great tourney. I love when those guys come fish our lakes.

Good deal. I'm also excited that they are going back to Cayuga Lake up north. Word around here is that the Potomac has been tough this year. That could be similar to the Delaware River event from 2014 or this year's event on the Upper Bay.
