VCR Tapes - Bassmaster/FLW - 08/06/15 01:25 PM
I have a closet full of old VCR tapes of shows I recorded years ago. Seems like I was always fishing when the shows came on so I taped them to watch later. They have been collecting dust in my closet for years. I was always thinking about having them recorded on to DVD's but just never got around to it.
If anyone has a VCR player and would be interested in watching them let me know. If you are in the DFW area I would meet up with you maybe a Bass Pro or somewhere. Some are pretty old and have some issue's but there is nothing like watching a tournament back in the 70's when a young Rick Clunn, Larry Nixon, Guido Hibdon are ruling the roost. One of my favorite's is back in the old days when pro's were partnered in the same boat watching Shaw Grigsby talk about this young whippersnapper that he was sharing the boat with being a guy to watch out for. It was KVD schooling Shaw casting a spinnerbait.
I have quite a few tapes that I watched over and over when I was trying to learn everything I could about bass fishing and also some other tapes I bought along the way. A seasonal tape series with Larry Nixon, one on Sam Rayburn is really informative and entertaining.
If anyone is interested in wanting to watch some of these just let me know, you are welcome to them.
