First time braid user

Hi all can yall tell me the best braid to use? Gonna put it on a caenan and use for a frog rod..

I prefer Power Pro in 50 to 65 lb. For frogs.

Power Pro will be the #1 most recommended line, I swear 2/3rd of all braid is powerpro lol

PowerPro and spiderwire are the only 2 I have ever tried.
PowerPro is the only one I buy. spiderwire cut through my eyelets like a hacksaw

If you're new to braid then here's a little tip you might or might not already know. Carry a piece if 3/4 inch wooden dowel about 4 inches long in your boat. When you get hung up, wrap the braid around the dowel to pull free otherwise the braid will put some bad cuts in your hand. Good luck to ya!

50# Powerpro with about 5 yards of mono underneath to keep it from digging in to your spool and/or spinning on a spool

all i use is braid and i really like sufix performance braid. it's a little more exspensive than power pro but not as exspensive as daiwa samurai braid

Check Academy, sometimes they have Power Pro on sale for decent prices.
