Coleto Creek in Summer

I will be visiting friends near Fanning, and would like to know if Coleto Creek is worth taking my boat. I have never fished it , understand it is a warm water lake, probably has enough jet skiers to make me want to not stay long past mid morning. Any comments about the hot summer bite there?
