Matter of perspective

Matter of perspective - 07/28/15 06:50 PM

On my way home from Fork. Saw a guy broke down on 20. He was on his way home from Tawk where he and his 5 year old son were fishing. His motor quit on him leaving him with a 3 hour trolling motor ride back to ramp. On I20 he has a blow out. He went to get his spare to realize that it had a bad spot also. His truck lug wrench wouldn't break the lug nuts, the screw jack wasn't doing him any good either. His wife was on the way to get tires and have them replaced.

So my point is I thought I had it bad cause Fork had given me another spanking, one of many I might add. Sometimes you get a chance to be thankful for just a spanking.

I kind of "figured" you helped the man, not sure why anyone would have asked with the details you provided and honestly not sure what business it is of anyone's beside yours.

Good Looking Out for your fellow man thumb

The guy was holding a sign explaining everything. Seemed suspicious so I drove by him, too.

Fishing is tough these day, doesn't matter to me. Your fishing and having a great day. Be thankful when times are good. When things go bad, they go bad.

Sometimes you're the bug and sometimes you're the windshield...

WTG with helping them out. He should be good for a few years with all that in one day BUT you just never know
