Best Bass Lake in Dallas Area,your opinion

Wondering what Lake in the Big D area is preferred by fishermen in the know.

Maybe top 3 if you can't decide.

They are all good and have good fish in them, most guys that know how to find fish can go on any lake around here and catch fish.

Lewisville ain't bad, just have to break down the big water and locate the fisheses!

Joe Pool is a seriously underrated fishery as well, I had no idea that lake was so enjoyable until this past year. We are truly blessed to have so many options, big and small, all within an hour or so.

I also can't wait for winter for more Squaw Creek action... Boy what a lake! Some of the smalled lales are truly hidden gems as well if you have a smaller rog or kayak/pond boat even.

There are no fish in Joe Pool

No fish in joe pool? I assume that's either a joke or you've never been able to catch a fish on that lake and assuming that must mean there are absolutely zero fish there.

I beg to differ.

Mother Hubbard is a generous mistress as well. Easily the #1 fishery of the big 3 in dallas proper (lew, lavon, hubbard)... Other lakes are all far enough you could pretty much be going to fork lol

I've done far better on Hubbard than I have on Fork, but that was before the lake filled back up. Lately its been tough

If anyone would like to show me how to fish it and catch fish on it, please do. I have been blanked on that toilet way to many times.
