Lake Athens iron mans's results?

Wife had family come in this weekend which wrecked my plans to fish this tourney last night.... Anyone know the results??

Brutal for us. Three unders and a bunch of slots. Left at 4am, home at 530.
Just woke up.

WE caught 25 to 30 fish all but 2 were slots. The 2 unders were 7 inches and 9 inches... Not going to weigh in with that.

Oh I woke up saturday morning at 7 am and have not slept since. I am one tire puppy

I think....

11 something for first
10 something for second
8 something for third
7 something for fourth

Sounds like very few overs weighed

Bite was tough for us and didn't have one keeper in the boat at weigh in time. Looking at the results we would have came in somewhere between 2nd or 3rd and possible big fish if we had 30 more minutes. I caught a 22"+ and a 13" just after 7am. Athens has never been that tough for me before.

We got 3rd with a 6 1/2 lb over I caught at 5am lol. It surprised me!! The bite was DEAD from midnight to 5 for us.

Most importantly thanks goat farmer for letting my buddy and I join even though we were a few minutes late...

Nice man... I told my partner that I have never done really well on dark nights bass fishing but when it comes to trout that's the time to go out for the big ones.

How many teams showed? What won? Big Bass?

When we showed a few minutes late we were the 21st boat so I'm sure that was the total number.

Yea they were hit pretty hard Saturday by a club tourney

Pretty sure it was 12.21 that won. Me and my dad got 6th with 4 unders at 3.90... Only 8 boats out of 21 weighed in fish. I believe it was only 4 overs weighed in. As soon as dark hit the bite shut off until about 4:30-5 in the morning... Very tough.
