Just a little shade at 2 in the afternoon and 95* helps, especially for this old guys. Slides on and off fast and fits in the rod locker.

The unbrella is vented and has a clip holding it in so good so far!

Thanks Fish Hunter, that's the logo for a club I fish with. We have a chapter here in East Texas and there are some guys in the Plano area that's trying to get a chapter off the ground. It is a bass club made up of all first responders (law enforcement, fire fighters, ems, etc.)....

I've thought about the exact same thing too but it just seems like it would act like a sail in high wind. . .

Nah! Just be sure it's a vented unbrella.

I use a normal umbrella fixing it between my back and backpack. It's especialy good for fishing off the shore.

Thats the way to go!!!! i introduced my sister to pvc a few years back....i think parts of her house are made of it now. Coll idea man thumb

There was side scan and then there were power poles and then the butt-rella came along and blew all of that away!!!

don't forget it is up when you decide to move. the umbrella will become a wing and they don't float long. don't ask me how i know.
