Where/What

I had been enjoying mixed success in the back of coves using super flukes in areas where bass are actively feeding on the billions of shad.

Today the landscape is changed. I woke up to find the lake up more than two and a half feet. TVA is letting some water out but not much.

Where would you look for fish and what baits would you use. I know some move back up creeks and rivers, but I am lost as to what to use to target the bass.

Water should be getting really clear in the backs of those creeks on KY. Lake.
The Ky. Spots should be plentiful and on a Fineness Jig in the earth tone skirts with a speed claw trailer.

If you are finding heavy vegetation try a frog early and then a weightless Senko.

When you find areas in the backs of the larger coves and creeks lined with buck ball bushes; with the water up in them I go to a 3/8 oz. Manns Hank Parker spinner bait. I have won lots of money on it there with some custom work done to it.

Any lay downs from trees blown over off the creek banks will produce on the ends with a Pumpkin Seed 7" Power worm and Lizard/tail tipped Chart..

Thanks for the advice. Water has some color due to recent rains.
