Dark/solids for murky/muddy/stained water. Solids for over cast weather. Greens with flakes for clear days. Dark with flakes for evening/low light. Pink or white for spawn. Mostly I fish Senko brand or style worms... Weightless. Or, I guess you can count the 3/0 hook as a weight. Works great. Been going through two bags of Senkos an evening. So, on average, 14 bags @ $6 per bag. $80+ a week in Senkos. Lol.

Don't tell my wife!

Aww man Zoom had the Utale in black grape that I got hooked on a couple years ago and the ^&$#^$&$^ stopped making it! That color was the only one that consistently produced (well) for me with a carolina rig. All the other purplish colors do squat. They have Black grape again but it's only for the small trick worms. Helps with Shakey heads but I caught some big fish with that skinny [censored] utale.... smirk

Watermelon/red fleck 4 inch BPS Stick O worms and big Zoom Watermelon/red trick worms are my 2 go-to's for texas rig. Blue with blue fleck Stick o's for muddy water.

My Texas rig's were always power worms. Usually black, red shad, pumpkinseed, and blue fleck.

If I'm pitching around structure, docks, etc I like a baby fork creature. Try the watermelon red and dip the feet in spike it.
