El Salto late September early October?

I'm considering going down there but I'm curious as to what the fish are or will be doing down there at that time? Anyone that's been there during that time of the year id like to hear what was going on and what I should take. Or should I wait for a better time of the year?

Usually that's the later part of the rainy season. Lake level will be relatively high (80-90%) and rising. Temperature will be very comfortable. Given a choice, I would wait till November.
