Minn Kota foot controlled pedal question

When you push the toe of the pedal down which way does the trolling motor turn?

To the right.

It turns the motor clockwise, which means you are normally turning to the right. At least mine does.

Minn kota and motorguide are the same. Front to the right back to the left. Unless you switch the cables around.

Thanks, I had mine worked on about two years ago and they had the cables backwards. I had been using it like that ever since. I finally got around to changing it today and was just sitting here second guessing my self. Never did get use to it going the opposite way.
