You may be able to reach out to Debra Hengst on here, she may have a way of getting one. I can't find one on line, and haven't seen the mailer I usually get each year either.

Re: ter Owner's Tournament Lake Fork - 05/30/15 05:14 PM

Great
Thank you very much
My first Skeeter Owners tournament.
Owned a Starfire 175D back in 1986, but got a nice used one last Fall just so I could fish this tourney.
Plus they are darn good boats.
Look for me,,,, I'll be the one with NUTS.

Re: ter Owner's Tournament Lake Fork - 05/30/15 05:20 PM

They run Skeeter boat demo rides on Thursday and Friday also. They will have a pavilion set up at Lake Fork Marina with baits, electronics, and merchandise for sale all days as well. They also have a toys for tots drive, or at least have the last several years. Great time. Been going since since 2005 with my dad, and this is our annual father son fishing get away. You'll be hooked so to speak.

Re: ter Owner's Tournament Lake Fork - 05/30/15 05:21 PM

This is a great tournament to fish. There will be some of the Skeeter Pros there and they are great to talk to and get autographs and pictures with. If you are on the lake, be sure and keep your eyes open for a yellow rubber duck, you find one of those and you are going to win some great prizes. The lake will be full of boats, be extra careful out on the water.

Bring a radio, KMOO gives weigh in updates each 15 minutes or so, it will help you decide if you want to run in to weigh a fish or not.

Skeeter is a sponsor for the SETX high school fishing league. Why did they make the owners tournament the same weekend as the high school championship

They will all ready have the big stage set up and the tv crew there to film the weigh in.
And we will enjoy watching the kids weigh in.

The dates are usually set as soon as the current one is over. It's unfortunate that it's the same weekend as the SETX championship.

That sounds about right, I tell ya it's one of the hardest big bass tournaments to get a ck in we fish. We fish all the big bass events on Fork too, them Skeeter Guys and Gal's are good, real good.
I have a lot of spots I think are mine alone, come tournament day, sure-nuf there will be 3 bug boats on everyone of them.. eeks

Do you have to own a skeeter to enter?

Re: ter Owner's Tournament Lake Fork - 06/01/15 10:17 PM

Yes and no, you can fish with some one that owns a Skeeter; no more than 3 to a boat.

It looks like we will be fishing in the rain during the tournament.
