Points and humps 15 to 25 feet. That's very specific. Only a thousand places like that on fork

It says the color of the swimbait, but he doesn't say what size, brand, etc.. That's what I meant

I just bought a 8xd do Yall use them? I know they don't go as deep as a 10xd but do Yall like it better because of the smaller body?

All the pro's caught their fish on public spots. Same spots everyone else fishes. They didn't have any secret spots they found, they just knew how to catch the fish down there.

I saw pro's with big cranks like 10xd and smaller ones like 8xd. Last year Combs' used both to win.

I was out that Monday and I went out to my few deep spots for schoolers and there was a pro sitting on every one of them, guy in a AC power boat green and yellow then there was a pro in a Toyota boat black and red and another pro don't remember his boat.

I saw ehler fishing the long main lake point on the east side of the opening to little caney. He fished it all the way around to the point at entrance of alligator

Yes he was. But there is a special patch on that point where he caught all his fish.

Hmmmm there must have been another Go-Pro boat just like his on the lake that day also, because the one I saw wasn't near Little Caney or Alligator.

Re: Brent ehrler fork? - 05/30/15 02:14 AM

I know for a fact he was on that point some all three days. My gf caught her first jig fish 50yards from him. It was him and us. She was screaming like a beat her. I finally had to yell and tell him that it was her first jig fish so he didn't call 911.lol.

Quote from KVD nothing but class
"Kevin VanDam came into his primary area for a short time on day 1 and then departed. When VanDam arrived again on day 2, he made a few casts and then asked Ehrler if that's where he'd been catching most of his fish. When Ehrler said yes, VanDam pulled up his trolling motor and moved out"
