Best bass pond in Denton tx

My step son runs track in Denton, and when I take him to practice I have down time, and was needing info on the best place to bass fish in Denton tx plz?

Try either of the northlake ponds or the lake forest pond off of ryan rd. I have caught bass in all three!

I use to know some good trailer park ponds and a few outside of town. Couldn't tell you how to get there though. Use to be one off I35 south of town bout 3 miles in an abandoned trailer park. Super deep & clear. I remember seeing guys scuba diving there. Had some good fish in it, but that was at least 25 years ago.

Thanks for the replies. Ended up fishing the south pond with the walking trail caught a few but still having trouble loading images with my phone or I'd post one
