I had a Marine buddy of mine fly in from Michigan this weekend to get his bass fix so we went to Bastrop Friday. It was a rainy day but we caught 49, 32 of those came on a frog. Nothing over 5 lbs but most were the typical 3 -4 lb Bastrop bass. We didn't do as good Saturday as we only caught 20, 14 on the frog. He went home with sore, tired hands and we both have memories that will last a life time.
