We rode by there a little while ago. Pretty crazy. There were cars stranded in the parking lot at Lynn Creek Marina.

The one that blows my mind is Texoma, up almost 12 feet in last 7 days. Looks like it may get to spillway

I will add some pics tomorrow. It's amazing how much it came up over night. I was out there yesterday and it was pretty normal. I went back this afternoon and it was crazy you can't put in at the state park without getting wet.

Re: Joe Pool way up - 05/18/15 01:21 PM

I was on it Saturday evening and Sunday. Caught 3 Saturday evening. In about an hour. And caught one all day on Sunday. Gonna be interesting for a few weeks. Lol.

Re: Joe Pool way up - 05/18/15 01:36 PM

I caught a few small ones Saturday morning. I went out yesterday afternoon and didn't catch anything. The lake is already hard for me, I think now the fish are scattered all over the place. There are literally millions of places for them to go right now. Some areas I saw you couldn't get to the fish even in a kayak and it goes back at
Least 100 yards into trees and brush.

Re: Joe Pool way up - 05/18/15 02:03 PM

I'm not sure, I didn't get close enough to the dam. I know this,
If you are familiar with the lake, there is a jetti or small damn just east of Lynn creek marina. Normally it's a rock pile that sticks up 6'-8' or more. I fished it saturday morning and it looked normal. Yesterday afternoon it was less than a foot above the water and it looked like a great spot. I didn't catch a fish over there though.

Re: Joe Pool way up - 05/18/15 02:26 PM

Wow where is all this water going to go, do they open the gate at the dam?
Posted By: bradnitro175

Re: Joe Pool way up - 05/18/15 02:30 PM

There's no gates on Joe pool just pump stations and a dam

Re: Joe Pool way up - 05/18/15 02:36 PM

All the surrounding creeks are full and over flowing, so I don't know where they can send the water until the creeks go back down some
Posted By: Ctstormman

Re: Joe Pool way up - 05/18/15 06:08 PM

All they can do it send it down to Mountain Creek. Mountain Creek though is already letting water into the Trinity so don't know if they will open the gates more.
