Fluorocarbon. I use Segaur Tatsu on swim jigs. 15lb. It has the abrasion resistance of AbrasX and the suppleness of InvisX. It's great.

most of the time 65lb braid but im usually flipping, pitching and swimming the jig around shallow heavy cover if I'm in open water 15-20lb floro works fine

why? Just curious. I'd think that a "swimming" presentation would benefit from a line that sinks and is very hard to see.

Braid has a definite place, I know that. I have a few combos that always have braid on them. But I'd think a flourocarbon would be a much better choice for a swim jig.

Most of the time when I'm fishing a swimjig, its around heavy vegetation. Its a lot easier to get a piece of grass of the jig with braid. Just a flick of the wrist and it pops off and I can continue the retrieve without having junk on it. If it gets stuck on some pads or thick grass it will cut through
