Van Relief TFF Lake Fork Style

I have been fortunate to know and experience the power and brotherhood of the TFF. I have also been able to experience the goodness of the Lake Fork community. On top of this I've been living in a community where neighbors look out for each other and there is great pride in our town, yes I am truly blessed! Now that town has been hit harder than any of us could imagine. This tornado literally completely destroyed a path about 700 yards wide that runs the complete length of town from south to north. I have reached out to some of my fellow guides and came up with what I think is a great idea for me to share the generosity and sense of community that I experience here on the TFF as well as at Lake Fork. We are going to put full day guide trips for 1 or 2 people up for auction. The bidding will close May 25th at 8 p.m. At that time i will announce and contact each winner with contact info for their guide. At that time you will contact that guide and book a date that works for both of you. As well I will provide relief account info to make payment too and you will receive your trip certificate once I have received proof of payment (they will give you a receipt). There will be 2 catches, 1st is there will be a $500 minimum bid for each trip, 2nd is the trip must be booked for a date before October 1st. This is my list of guides, I have not spoken with all guides and if any other guides would like to get in on this please text or call me at 903-519-1542. I just received a confirmation via email for $1000 dollar payment which has already been paid. This gentleman made the payment without even knowing wether or not he would win with this bid. That is an outstanding start! I will leave this fella's bid anonymous as I have his name but not TFF handle. He is of course more than welcome to claim his bid on here.

Here is a link to the donation page at Van Community Ministies. This is a trustworthy organization in Van. You can donate as little or as much as you'd like. You can do it online or send a check with tornado relief in the memo box and they have a seperate account set up at Austin Bank here in town that will all go directly to victims of this disaster. It will be a long time for many, many families until they even have a house again, so every dollar we can raise is needed. Thanks to all who give and all the generous folks helping me do this. Now help me show my town what the TFF and fishing community is made of!!
