Hey Jon, Dave talked to TRWD yesterday and they told him that they were expecting it to be 2 foot over full by Wednesday and that was without any additional rain.

Probably releasing to make sure it doesn't flood. I believe we'll be getting additional rain this week and weekend.

Wouldn't it be a shame if lakes that haven't been full in years were lowered in anticipation of more rain...and then the expected rain didn't materialize.
We can only forecast weather, we can't make it happen.

Eagle Mountain Dam gates are also open up past Vance's camp. The company I work for backs up to the creek on the opposite side Vance's camp and its flowing fast and almost out of the banks.

Yep, I just drove down there and saw that too. There's still water coming in so hopefully they are just regulating it and not banking on more rain!!!

according to TPWD site, the lake is down .26' right now, so it is 3" low, with water coming in, so another lake full, which is GREAT!!! As mentioned, hopefully they are reading the weather and water correctly so as NOT to let too much out.

I am pretty sure more is coming in they are letting out. The guage at Boyd is at flood stage. I think there intention is to let out as much water as they can in order to minimize the upcoming flood. Lewisville and Grapevine are letting out along with Cedar Creek and Richland Chambers. If there is not a coordinated effort the lower a Trinity will flood. I am more worried about ramps flooding out than I am TRWD letting out too much water.
