Cranks and cranks and cranks I had that rod when it first came out u would be screwed if u tried to toss a swim jit on it or chatter bait not enough backbone to drive home a heavy wire 4/0-5/0 hook

It works good for me with a finesse 5/16 swim jig, but to each his own.

I prefer a moderate tip for crankbaits. A fast tip would be good for rattletraps and jerk baits. I would go MH for spinnerbaits, swim jigs, and chatter baits. Just my 2 cents.

i have one of those rods, i like small square bills .rattle traps, and model a bombers and small crank baits.i also like med heavy rods for spinner or chatterbaits
