Ray Roberts should end up over pool by tonight

Poring 2-3 inches an hour in valley view and Gainesville with more coming. Should bring the lake up a foot over pool with rain forcast all week.

They say Bowie is getting hammered with rain so hopefully Amon Carter will come up too.

Several lakes to the west need the rain bad, looks like amon carter and Nocona got substantial rains and still getting more.

Just talked to my grandpa who lives about a mile from Amon Carter, he got a little over 5". Stock tanks should be full

Unfortunately, USGS reporting for Amon Carter isn't working.

Fishing the spawn, so far, has sucked and as Sunday was most likely the last spawning full moon for the spring, the weather and rising water has stumped a great many of us. 3/4 " of rain last night and 1/4" Tuesday night here in Pilot Point, east of 377, of which most here on the east side goes to Lewisville. With all that rain west and north of the lake the late spring and summer fishing here on Ray Roberts ought to be fun this year.

It is now .10 above full pool!!!!!!!

Dingy to dirty north of wolf island last weekend. Cleared up to the south. All that flooded brush sure looked good. But like many, I struggled to find fish.

+.53 ft as of 8:15...will they start releasing water since it's in over pool? I'd hope not and isn't lewisville something like +2 ft?

It's still coming up fast, lots of flooding in Gainesville and lake kiowa going over the spillway. Still a bunch of coming down stream.

Fox 4 weather reported at least 7.5-8+ inches fell north of Ray Bob. We got just over an inch here tonight and an inch early Thursday morning. My yard is like a wet sponge and won't absorb water any more. May have to take a ride out to Ray Bob in the morning.

1ft over pool and climbing fast wonder how high it will get.

Roberts 2' over this morning and still rising!! Great right before summer. Bass will really be scattered now. But its worth it. Can't wait to get on the lake!

Headed for 3' over pool. I think that makes about 11' rise in just over a month.

They'll suck it back down, water always comes out the dam.

They can't let it out if the lakes down stream are flooded too. Lots of flooding around and we have alot more rain coming. Should be a interesting weekend if the rain continues as predicted

I have to head to lake kiowa to see if my boats are still on the boat lifts heard a lot of boats floating all over the lake. Reports are it was 3ft over pool.
