Lake Fork Tuesday - 05/06/15 11:39 AM
Beautiful day to be on Fork. The April crowds are gone. Saw 2 vehicles at the public ramp at 515 and 17. Caught bass on spinner baits, buzz baits and hollow-belly weighted swim baits. Cover a lot water and fish shallow. Regards, Bart
Thank you Bart. Just two more days of work and then headed that way for 11 days.

I would stay primarily with the spinnerbait, fishing all of the flooded vegetation...overcast for alot of the week. This is the time when, if you are fishing shallow on Fork, you will catch alot of fish. Bart

We couldn't get bit on spinnerbaits yesterday, but frogs and swimbaits produced some nice catches. All our bigger fish came a bit deeper, several yards off the visible flooded vegetation.
I'm dying to get out there. Getting my boat from Ohio next week and hopefully the bass will still be on over Memorial Day Weekend.

Only going to keep getting better now through July. Memorial Day weekend will be a madhouse on Fork, though. TTBC that weekend.
