Fork was rough yesterday

We fished for a few hours in the afternoon. I think we had one bite. Did anyone catch fish yesterday or is the lake just plain tough after the water rise and cold on tuesday?

Caught two bass and a 8 pound drum in 7 hours if that tells you anything, or it could be that I just suck at fishing

Someone will come on here in a bit and tell you they lost track of how many they caught, happens every time. With the water rise (don't think the cold morning probably made much of a difference at this point), they are probably really scattered, and it is all about covering water. But I suck at this too, so don't listen to me.

It was post frontal, no wind, and rising barometer. It was rough for most everyone in East Texas yesterday. Saturday should be good, Sunday should be even better.

All the rain has put out the fire on Fork.

I hope it is better tomorrow I plan on fishing all day

Brother and I fished flooded bushes and grass all day yesterday. Live Target hollow belly frog is all we used. 9 fish. Bite on frog is always great!
