Go to another lake that doesn't get as much pressure. Those fish can see you tying on a lure in the boat and laugh to themselves..."Really? You think I'm going to bite a watermelon seed brush hog dipped in chartreuse Dip n Glo? Do you know how many of those I've seen in the last three days?"
Seriously, I think the key is to realize the spawn is basically over and key on post spawn fish. There are some fish left in the alligator grass and maidencane (or whatever it is), but if you hook one you better get her head turned fast and ski her to the boat because if she digs down into it there's a good chance she'll get off.

At one time it was fun to fish.
Throw a poppin frog in and on the shore grass lines and enjoy the show.
