Lake Alvarado today - 04/26/15 02:36 AM

Caught this 8lb 4oz about ten minutes after we started fishing.
This was a spawned out bass but she was in good shape and still swimming around as far as I know.
Lotsa new water in the lake
Good Luck to all

Thanks a lot
I'm more proud of that fish than a lot of them I've caught at Fork.
It also had a hook hole in its jaw so someone did the right thing before I caught it.

I let it go, too much pressure on these fish.
The only fish I keep have whiskers, because every once in a while, I want to do a fish fry!

Awesome! I would have been too. That's a tough lake to catch sizeable bass on but they are definitely there!

Anyone else out there today? Fishing was brutal. Water is higher than I've ever seen it. Guess all the chocolate milk water has them scattered.
