The fishing has been pretty good at our area lakes here in Austin. Lake Austin has been fishing well, but certainly not like in years past. The over-stocking of grass carp has definitely really hurt the lake, but there are still lots of good fish to be caught there. If you want to talk about a lake on the up-and-up though, check out Lake LBJ! That place has been kicking out more and more big fish the past couple of years and some big bags! The last few bigger tournaments I've known about out there have taken somewhere in the ballpark of a 30lb five-fish limit to win.

Here's a video of a montage of clips from guide trips I've done so far this year on Lake Austin and Lake LBJ. Highlights include a client catching a 5+ at LBJ, sight-fishing at Lake Austin, and Grandma layin' the smack down on some LBJ bass! Enjoy.
