What a weekend and not in that we wore em out way. Saturday was full of heart break as fish came unbuttoned and broke off, including a giant that we watched jump circles around a tree as she sawed the line in half. Ended the day with just a few boated fish and enough Fork stories to last for a while. Today was tough for sure, very tough to get bit and even the bed fish were being stubborn. We did manage to catch a few more today and of course since it's Fork there were some goodun's in the few we caught. I am still having my best success on the bed fish with the lft hyper freak. We are getting a few frog bites each morning, some days they will kill it and some they miss it quite a bit. The lft popper has caught some as well, I'm a big fan of this bait. It has great finish to it and similar action to a yellow magic but also has a rattle. Once the sun is good and high other than bed fishing the best bite has been on a wacky worm which gave Drew his new personal best today at 7 lbs 15 ozs. All in all it was pretty typical Fork the last couple days, really frustrating in multiple ways, a few really good fish, and a windy bumpy ride to the ramp to close the week. I still love this place!!
