Got a bad habit

Im kind of addicted to the Alabama rig. Lake Leon gave me a toad today! Sorry about the hat guys, the wind was blowing 25 mph, I couldn't keep it on any other way.

80 lb braid, no problem. Just straighten out the hooks when you get hung up. Then a little needle nose job!

Ive been fishing for 35 years and I've caught a 9,3 and a 9,0 and this fish hit my bama rig and kicked my but all the way to the boat and I swear it was bigger body than an 11lber that I netted for a friend. My scale said 9.3 and the tournament scale said 8.98. Hell it got smaller as the day went on. All I got to say is it's a good thing it wasn't a 10 or i'd have to retire. LOL!

I need to pick up an A-rig and set one up. Never got to use one up north as they're illegal up in PA.

Nice fish! That girl looks every bit of 10. Amazing how the density of fish can differ. Buddy caught one recently that I got to lip and weigh. Looked every bit of 11 and maybe pushing 12, but didn't even go 10 and a half. Biggest frame I'd ever seen on a fish and not skinny at all. Just a less dense than average fish.
