Elliott's electric @ Fork - 04/19/15 03:46 AM

I usually fish this tournament but was unable to do so this year. Any word on how they did, weight, big fish? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

9.9 big bass.
.24 small bass (tie)
8.80 big stringer
2.00 to get a check.

This was a fun tournament. First time I've fished it.

240 boats. Top 50 got a check, everyone else got prizes.

Great lunch yesterday and today.

Looking forward to the next one.

It was a good day fishing for us. Caught lots of fish and missed a couple that would have helped out our cause but that's how it goes.
This was my second year, last year got 17 and $600
Ended up 36th with a check for $250 today.

Wish I could have made it this year. The last 2 years I have had a schedule conflict.

So are you saying 190 boats weighed in less than 2 pounds? I'm confused?

They paid through 50th place and it was around 2 lbs

I think that you could only win one category. The 9.9 won the Big bass money but couldn't count that bass towards big stringer.
backatit, we had 2 bass for 3.7 if I recall correctly.

Nice that they spread it out as not to duplicate winners

Here is the stat that got me.
Out of 240 boats there were only 8 five fish limits brought it and only 1 over.

With the rains and all the new cover the fishing gets tough for the weekend anglers. Is there an official results posted?

Re: Elliott's electric @ Fork - 04/20/15 06:15 PM

Yes this is correct.

Results can be seen on their website.

I was really concerned when they told me the guy who weighed the over (9.9) didn't win the entire thing with one fish. Apparently it was only eligible for big bass since that was the only fish he brought in. If he'd had a 1 pound under with it, he would have taken the cake... Big bass in this tournament is nothing more than just that. Top 8 had five fish, 2 pounds Got a check. Tons of door prizes for everyone else. You didn't leave empty handed. There were well over 100 zeroes, fishing was very tough, we didn't catch a fish until after 12.
