What are the bass hitting right now? Are they hitting topwater in the morning? I'd love to throw a buzzbait, frog, or pop-r and catch me some!
Yep top water bite ain't too bad right now. Get your trolling motor dirty. The top water fish are shallow!!

How's the top water bite in the dirty water?
ive been catching my share on frog every afternoon, dirty water or not
Sounds like it almost doesn't matter what bait as long as its shallow.

I'll be heading up around 4am. Probably launch from Lake Fork Marina if the ramp is doable...
Tough day today. They didn't hit much.
Post spawners will bite the frog!
Thanks guys! Keep em comin! I'm headed out today for first time in over a year, can't wait to see how the lake looks now.
With rain in the forecast any recommendations as far as bait to use and where?

Have a fluke or Senko ready for those blow ups that don't get hooked up

Try a black with blue fleck Senko or a pumpkin seed with pepper flake up at the grass edge. Thats the only thing I have been able to catch them on. You might also try a watermelon lizard in shallow water. Good luck.

Threw a buzzbait in little caney Sunday and caught a 4 lber on a white buzzbait - sitting in 4' throwing to stumps sitting in 8'. Threw it on the bank for ever with nothing. Water was slightly stained and 69 degrees. LOTS of guys catching fish on a wacky worm.
