What is your preferred brand of Deep Crankbaits? - 04/16/15 02:10 AM
The thread about strike king has got me wondering which deep diving crankbaits do y'all like? I know I have had good luck with 5 and 6 xds when I get one that runs true. I would say it's about 1out of 5 works right. I have tried rap alas but haven't had much luck with them. Those are pretty much my only2 options around here. I just don't like buying stuff on the internet not knowing what I am getting.

Rapala n Strike King. Cheap, but they are where my confidence is. If I couldn't get them to fire on rapala then they would on SK and vise versa..

6th Sense Crush 300 and Crush 500 for extra deep
6th sense and strike king some rapala but 80% 6xd 20% 6th sense if I'm under 15ft

yup. Throw in a few Rapala DTs and that's all I use. More DD22 than anything tho for me.

5XD and 6XD and Rapala DT 10, 14 and 16. I have some old DD22's but just never caught a lot on them.

DD22, Strike King, and Lucky Craft is all I've really tried. I don;t really throw a deep crank that often. This is probably the biggest thing I'm missing

Rapala DT 16 and 20
Poes 400 (bought a bunch when tackle stores were going out of business because BPS came to town),
6th Sense Crush 500, and
I still have some old Lee Sisson P20s that I like to throw.
