Welcome to the forum.

Here are some tips:

1) Never admit to buying Livingston Lures.
2) Before you enter your first tournament, you must own:
a) Jersey (don't worry about actually having sponsors - just make sure it looks cool)
b) Flat brim cap
c) White frame Oakleys
3) If you ever remotely get pissed at someone on the water, you must come on here Monday morning and tell us about it. (But never actually confront the person that caused the issue)
4) When you catch a biggun and you don't have your scales or your batteries are dead, always post a pic of the fish on here and ask what we think it weighs.
5) Finally, never ever ever ever ask for fishing advice on Rayburn!

Have some fun on here. Don't take everything so serious like a few of 'em do.

Re: New to the Fishing Forum - 04/10/15 03:27 PM

Nice to see all the responses. something about my self lets see... I live in Fort Worth so I am hoping to start fishing lakes around the area soon. I have fished a lot as a kid but never really knew what I was doing. I am planning a trip to lake El Salto next year because I caught my fist bass not long ago and have been craving it from then on. I am trying to read up on everything I can and with me being new to bass fishing it is a bit overwhelming at times. I am ready to get out there and fish as much as I can. I don't have a fishing boat yet but plan on getting one in 4-6 months. If anyone wants to get together and fish around Fort Worth them please feel free to message me.
