Seeker S-Glass React PRO Rods - 01/02/14 03:02 PM

Does anyone have any experience with the Seeker Rods and their S-Glass React PRO series of rods designed for moving baits. I am looking at either the Tommy Martin Signature Crankbaits rod (7') or the Paul Elias Squarebill rod (7'2") and I was hoping that there would be some feedback or some first hand experiences with the rods from TFF.

Thanks and Happy New Year.

I don't own the factory rods from Seeker, but I do have customs built on what have to be the same blanks from Seeker.
The 7'2" that I own that has to be a sibling of the Paul Elias rod is a trap rocket launcher. For me it's the perfect trap rod- incredibly long casting, plenty of backbone to pin a fish on the end of a long cast and the nice forgiving tip to keep hooks from tearing out.
I've used the 7'2" for DD's when I didn't have my dedicated DD rod with me and it worked well for that too.
Looking at the rod descriptions, I would imagine the 7 foot Tommy Martin rod is just a cut down version of the same rod.
I have used several glass rods and the Seeker S glass rods are noticeably faster actions that other glass rods. They are not a heavy wet noodle like the old glass rods from the 70's and 80's that I used to fish as a kid.
